Barcelona continues to work at full speed to be able to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor before January 1, the date from which the registration made for the first part of the season will no longer be valid.
The Court of First Instance is expected to rule today on the lawsuit filed by Barcelona, requesting the relevant precautionary measures to allow these registrations.
After the Commercial Court denied their request last Friday, the Catalan giants are not very optimistic about this second judicial attempt.
One more step left
In this way, this judicial avenue has taken a backseat since Joan Laporta reached an agreement last week in the Middle East for the sale of the new Spotify VIP boxes at the Camp Nou.
According to MARCA, there are two separate agreements, and the sum of both will make it possible to reach the 100 million euros necessary for the club to make the signings of Olmo and Pau Víctor official.
This also ensures that the blaugrana will return to the 1:1 rule, allowing for more signings in the future.
Barcelona has completed all the necessary steps so that this operation can be counted before January 1. Firstly, agreements were reached with Arab investors for the sale of these VIP boxes for the next 20 years.
Both contracts have already been closed and signed, as the club has communicated to LaLiga.
Barcelona has been in constant contact with LaLiga so that everything complies with the league’s guidelines and advances with the necessary procedures.
The club’s goal was to avoid submitting these agreements at the last minute before the registration deadline, in case they were rejected. In this sense, Barça is following the steps set by LaLiga so that everything is in order.
However, there is still one last step that is being worked on in the last few hours, which is the certification that the funds have arrived.
The groups that have invested in these VIP boxes are financially solid, but La Liga requires that this be guaranteed with documentation.
For this reason, the Catalans collect all the necessary information and transmit it to the league. Barcelona believes that everything could be closed today, but not with total security.
