In the Cape Town ODI, the Pakistan batsman scored a strong target of 330 for South Africa. Rizwan scored 80, Babar 73 and Kamran Ghulam 63 off 32 were the architects of the defensive objective. The bowling unit led by Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah restricted South Africa to 248. Shaheen’s 4 wickets and Naseem Shah’s 3 helped Pakistan achieve an 81-run victory.

The last and third ODI took place in Johannesburg. Saim Ayub shines with a classy century. Debutant Sufiyan Muqeem’s 4 wickets in 52 runs shook the South African batting order. This joint effort by the men in green led to a historic 36-run victory via DLS method on Proteas soil.
