The match started evenly, with the ball dispute concentrated in the midfield. At 11 minutes, Santos had their first chance to score. Otero takes a free kick in the area and Rodrigo Ferreira heads it away, and the ball passes close to the goalkeeper’s left post.

Three minutes later, Gonzalo Escobar receives the ball from João Schmidt and hits it hard from outside the area, forcing the goalkeeper to make a great save.
With the first scoring opportunity in the second half, after two minutes, the Santos team tied the score. João Schmidt plays for Giuliano, who quickly leaves it to Willian Bigode. The striker opens for Patrick already inside the area, who leaves the ball clean for Diego Pituca to equalize the score.
