Harshit Rana and Nitish Rana have been criticized for similar statements in support of India head coach Gautam Gambhir. Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra commented on how his remarks gave ‘Chat GPT’ vibe after the duo supported the coach whom Manoj Tiwary called a ‘hypocrite’.
Why did Manoj Tiwary call Gambhir a ‘hypocrite’?
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Manoj Tiwary, former Indian cricketer, recently explained: “Why did I call him a hypocrite? It’s because of one of his interviews, if you remember. In one of the interviews, he said: ‘All these foreign coaches All the boys who come from abroad have no emotions, they have no feelings. They make money and have fun When it came time to select all the Indian coaches and all the support staff of Indian origin, why did you propose the names. Ryan Ten Doeschate and Morne Morkel? He got everything he wanted but he is not able to produce it. The results do not match his words, so I called him a hypocrite.”
He further added, “Tell me, before you started coaching in the Indian team, did you have any coaching experience in first-class cricket or IPL or anywhere in the world? Did you coach any of the teams? Mentoring and coaching are totally different. That’s where everyone mixes. That’s where fans mix, and many others mix. Coaching and mentoring are totally opposite. When you have no experience, how do you expect to perform right now? They are there for everyone to see.

Chopra calls Harshit and Nitish’s statements ‘Chat GPT product’
Harshit Rana and Nithish Rana then took to social media to show their support for the Indian head coach. However, Aakash Chopra has criticized their statements for having striking similarities. Chopra commented, “Harshit Rana and Nitish Rana expressed their support for Gambhir on social media. If you look at it, it looks like a Chat GPT product.”
“There are many similarities in both statements, or someone wrote them and sent them to post on social media. It seemed that both statements were written by the same man or the same machine. It could be Chat GPT, for all we know,” he added.
Chopra justifies Manoj Tiwary’s criticism of Gambhir
Aakash Chopra continued to support Tiwary’s statements by highlighting Gambhir’s old comments about the foreign coach. “Manoj Tiwary is right about one thing: he talked about Gautam Gambhir’s old comment about foreign coaches. Let’s be fair: Gautam Gambhir selected Ryan ten Doeschate and Morne Morkel. I have to be honest. Both Morne and Ryan are people with a heart of gold. They are sincere and honest, but they are not Indians.
“On the other hand, Manoj Tiwary talked about Gautam getting all the credit for KKR’s success in IPL in 2012 and 2014. When you talk about credit, you have to give it, not take it away. MS Dhoni never says anything, he is completely opposite.” In the end, he never asks for credit, but people give it to him. “He has never asked for credit in a public forum, and people may not like him getting credit, but Dhoni has never asked for it himself,” he added.
