Barcelona’s star midfielder is not considering leaving in January despite having offers to leave

With about a week left in the January transfer window, Barcelona have made the conscious decision not to sell any players.

It seems that coach Hansi Flick has each and every player and does not want to lose a single star, knowing that the depth of the team could be important in the second half of the season.

Barcelona’s strategy can negatively affect many players, especially those who are not a prominent part of the first team.

One of them is Pablo Torre, who has once again struggled to find regular minutes in Catalonia, despite impressing on many occasions.

However, despite his lack of playing time, Torre has no desire to leave Barcelona in January and wants to fight for his place in the first team, reports AS.

Ex-Racing Santander, Torre had a promising start to the season as he made some excellent cameos and even started three league games in a row.

With key midfielders injured, Torre had a clear role in the team. However, since the return of Frenkie de Jong and Gavi, his role in the first team has deteriorated.

Torre, in fact, has yet to play in La Liga since the defeat against Las Palmas on November 30.

But the midfielder is optimistic about his prospects in the first team. After the start of the Copa del Rey, the young man is aware that little by little the opportunities will open up.

The report adds that Torre has had no shortage of offers. But for now the midfielder is happy at Barcelona and a mid-season exit is not something that interests him.

For starters, Torre is more than likely to start when Barcelona kick off their Copa del Rey campaign on January 4, when they take on Barbastro.

Torre may even start ahead of De Jong, who has lost weight in the team and has fallen behind key players in the pecking order.
