Barcelona won their first trophy of the Hansi Flick era last night by defeating arch-rivals Real Madrid 5-2 in Jeddah in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Team trophies matter more for Raphinha
Speaking to the media after the match, Raphinha admitted that it was nice to be named MVP of a final match, but insisted that team trophies matter more to him.
“The Most Valuable Player? The important thing is the collective titles, that’s why I came to Barça.” Rafina said.
“I am very happy to have been able to help the team achieve victory. Whether I play well or badly is not the important thing. What matters to me is always giving my best to help Barcelona win trophies.” he further stated.
The Brazilian winger highlighted the importance of the Spanish Super Cup and described it as an injection of confidence.
“This Super Cup gives us a lot of confidence for the rest of the season. It feels very good.” Rafina said.
This is the second time this season that Barcelona has absolutely outplayed Real Madrid and handed them a resounding defeat.
“We know that Real Madrid is a great team, but we are focused on ourselves. “We have been working hard since the beginning of the season and we understand what we have to do on the field.” Raphinha highlighted.
“We trust the coach, he trusts us and the most important thing is that we can compete for titles and win them.” he added.
Finally, the winger also praised the team’s reaction after Wojciech Szczesny’s red card in the second half.
