The former candidate for the presidency of Barcelona questions Laporta about the signing of the young forward

At Joan Laporta’s recent press conference, the Barcelona president made vehement statements on several topics, especially the work done by his board of directors and the calls for his resignation at the beginning of the month.

During the interview, he did not hesitate to attack his various opponents to the presidency who took advantage of Dani Olmo’s discharge saga to go against the club and ‘join hands’ with those who are against the Blaugranas.

Víctor Font’s questions

In a recent interview, Barcelona presidential candidate and Joan Laporta opponent Victor Font lashed out at the president’s recent comments about him.

At the same time, he raised questions about the lack of transparency in Laporta’s presidency and also gave his two cents on other important people on board.

He began by expressing concerns about the signing of Vitor Roque last summer, when the team already had the department covered for such a huge fee, and whether the move was really necessary for a player who has proven to be average.

“We had Marc Guiu, there was no fair play and we signed Vitor Roque. “If we saw that he was the new Ronaldinho, we understand it and we prioritize talent, but it is evident that he does not have the characteristics to play for Barça.” -he began.

“Deco had offered it to the club when he was its representative. Jordi Cruyff and Mateu Alemany said that there was no fair play and that it was not a priority. The first thing Deco did was sign Vítor Roque as soon as he arrived.” he added.

He then gave his two cents on Deco and the work he has done so far as sports director.

“To value it you have to wait for the team to evolve. If we sign good players, I will celebrate it. You have to put the notes at the end of the season.”

“With Laporta too. Of course, if we see situations that concern us with specific facts or official history, we have to demand that they tell us the truth.” he added about the president.
