Nico Williams, one of Spain’s brightest young talents, is at the center of intense transfer speculation.
The Athletic Club winger has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona, who have shown the greatest interest in signing him.
However, in an unexpected twist, Real Madrid Confidencial reveals that he is also keen to sign for Real Madrid, despite Barcelona clearly pursuing him.
The 22-year-old’s future remains uncertain as several top European clubs are vying for his signature and clubs that have shown strong interest include PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
PSG have even gone a step further by preparing to activate Nico’s €60 million release clause, putting them in a strong position to acquire the player.
Despite this, he appears to be in favor of a move to Real Madrid, although the Spanish giants are yet to make a formal offer for him.
Real Madrid is not serious
Interestingly, Real Madrid’s level of interest in Nico is not as high as other clubs, and they are not too worried about him moving elsewhere.
