Araujo’s renewal saga at Barça
It seems that Arsenal are aware of Araujo’s current situation at Barça.
After months out, the Uruguayan international may have realized that he might have difficulty breaking into the starting eleven.
This is because Íñigo Martínez and Pau Cubarsi have established themselves as key pieces in Hansi Flick’s defensive scheme.
With this in mind, Araujo has been reluctant to move forward with renewal talks at Barcelona. Arsenal, therefore, is more than prepared to take advantage of the market opportunity.
