On-loan Barcelona forward refuses to return to native country: report

Vitor Roque, Barcelona’s on-loan striker, has a clear decision about his future.

According to Fichajes, despite an attractive offer from Palmeiras to return to Brazil in January, he has chosen to stay at Real Betis, where he is enjoying a successful loan.

His performances at his current club, along with the strong support of his teammates and coach, have helped him make a decision.

Roque has rejected Palmeiras

The Brazilian striker had the option of returning to his homeland, and Palmeiras offered a tempting proposal to strengthen their squad for next season.

However, Roque, who has only been at Betis for a few months, is not interested in returning to Brazil at the moment. Instead, he has prioritized his time at Betis, where he feels highly valued and in top shape.

This decision highlights his commitment to the club’s current project, and the support of the Betis coach, who is satisfied with Roque’s contributions to the team, only reinforces his determination.

Satisfied with current life.

Roque’s adaptation to life at Betis has been remarkably quick and successful. His ability to create scoring opportunities, along with his effective teamwork, have made him one of the most outstanding players.

The bond he shares with his teammates and the connection with the fans have made him feel at home at Betis. These factors have weighed more on his decision than any external offer, no matter how attractive it may seem.

With his decision to remain at Betis confirmed, Roque’s immediate future is clear. He is focused on continuing to impress, where the trust placed in him by the club has been well reciprocated.

His determination to give his best and deliver memorable performances will no doubt keep Barcelona on their toes as they are also looking for a long-term replacement for Lewandowski.
