The Real Madrid talisman ‘in love’ with Barcelona’s style and tactics under the guidance of Hansi Flick

Barcelona could be going through a difficult time in La Liga at the moment, having picked up only six of a possible 24 points.

But the Catalans have performed extremely well against quality opponents, namely Real Madrid.

Barça has surpassed its archrivals in each of the two games this season. In the first half of the season, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-0 in La Liga, while in their most recent meeting the Catalans claimed a 5-2 victory to clinch the Spanish Super Cup.

Bellingham impressed with Barcelona’s play

Barcelona’s recent success against Real Madrid appears to have impressed midfield sensation Jude Bellingham, Catalunya Radio reports.

According to reports, the Englishman is ‘in love’ with Flick’s Barça, after how they beat Real Madrid twice this season.

Bellingham even told those close to him how the Catalans knew how to take advantage of Real Madrid’s weaknesses in both games.

The fact that Barcelona’s competition has been pointed out by none other than Bellingham is not surprising.

The Englishman has always been one of the most vocal members of the Real Madrid set-up, willing not to kowtow to anyone and unafraid to make bold statements.

Bellingham, in fact, is “in love” with Hansi Flick and his tactical regime. So much so that, after the Super Cup final, the midfielder openly said that the main difference between both clubs was that the Barça players knew what they had to do.

With this in mind, Real Madrid surely have something to prove when they face Barcelona next time.

The reigning European champions are scheduled to face Barça in La Liga on May 11 at the Camp Nou, although the final venue has become a bone of contention.

However, there is a strong possibility that Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet much earlier in any of the cup competitions.
