Barcelona has not yet received satisfactory offers for the defender on the way out

Barcelona are desperately trying to find ways to secure an exit in the winter transfer market to bring Marcus Rashford to Catalonia.

The English winger, who has excelled for Manchester United in recent years, has now fallen out of favor and is pushing to join Barcelona on a six-month loan.

To create space on the financial front, Joan Laporta and company have identified Ansu Fati and Eric García as two players who can be sacrificed. However, with the former adamant about staying, the latter has emerged as a serious option to leave.

In recent weeks it has become clear that Girona and Como are the two clubs interested in signing García from Barcelona this winter.

However, as Mundo Deportivo reported in a recent update, Barcelona have yet to receive an offer that satisfies their assessment of the player.

Michel’s team used the defender’s services last season and went on a historic run in La Liga. They even qualified for the UEFA Champions League with him in their dynamic and are pushing to sign him once again.

As, on the other hand, it is managed by Barcelona legend Cesc Fábregas, who sees García as the perfect candidate to lead the team’s defense and keep it away from relegation problems.

García, however, is a player that management values highly because he provides solutions not only as a center back but also as a pivot if necessary.

His versatility, added to his experience and his good performances so far this season make him a player that the club does not consider worthy of letting go at a bargain price and, therefore, will not give in to their demands.

If they do not find the right offer, everything indicates that they will continue with García in the team and that Rashford could even stay in Manchester until the end of the season.
