Barcelona could potentially become a key destination for Dusan Vlahovic next summer in what could be a surprising turn in the transfers market, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The Serbian striker, who initially prospered in Juventus after a very successful period with Fiorentina, is now struggling for prominence under the manager Thiago Motta.
The reports suggest that Juventus is prepared to put it on sale during the next transfer window, with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain emerging as possible suitors.
After a solid beginning of his life with Juventus, his subsequent seasons in Turin have been less impressive, with an objective of 14 in 2022-23, 18 in 2023-24 and only 12 in 2024-25.
Despite these numbers, his youth and ability still make him an attractive perspective in European football.
Barcelona could be his next destination
Italy’s reports have identified both Barcelona and PSG and possible destinations for Vlahovic, although each one presents their own challenges.
The PSG may not be the ideal adjustment since its coach, Luis Enrique, prefers an attack without a traditional central striker, a factor that previously hindered the success of Randall Kolo Muani in Paris.
Barcelona, on the other hand, see Vlahovic as a possible long -term successor of its veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, who is now 36 years old.
With Lewandowski under contract until 2026, the Catalan club could consider taking Vlahovic instead of later to facilitate a soft transition.
Deco interested in moving
Deco, From Barça According to reports, the sports director is interested in advancing in this movement already in 2025, although the financial limitations of the club could complicate things.
Juventus is said to accept around € 20 million for Vlahovic, a significant fall in its initial investment. This figure would help the Turin club to avoid financial losses in the player’s transfer.
Arsenal has also shown interest in the striker, but its manager, Mikel Arteta, prefers versatile strikers capable of playing in multiple positions.
It remains to be seen where Vlahovic will land, but his future is, without a doubt, one to see in the next transfer windows.
